The Primitive Wilderness Survival base camp in North Texas offers 200 acres of beautiful Texas woodlands. Base camp is in a hidden clearing bordered by a creek and tall ridge line. There are two creeks and 4 ponds on the property. Property has multiple hills and valleys that make the location interest and fun to navigate. Deer, hogs, turkeys, coyotes and bobcats are numerous in these woods. You don’t go a day without seeing wildlife. Small game hunting is also very good.
Course instruction at this location includes: Primitive bow and arrow making, atlatl and darts, primitive hunting, primitive fishing and trapping, primitive food procurement, primitive navigation and tracking. As well as just about anything that modern bushcraft/survival have to offer

Directions: Traveling west on 1810 (from Chico to Jacksboro), Private rd 1748 will be approximately 3 miles down 1810 on your right. When you pull through the cattle guard you will stay right, following the road down through a creek bed. When the gravel road turns right to go to the house, you will stay left cutting through the field and following the dirt road all the way to the very back where you will find base camp. There will be numerous signs along the way pointing you in the right direction. A map will also be sent to you.
